An Effort in Futility

Hello all - and welcome to May. May! We've reached that point where I can now say "next month, we're moving to California . . . "

So, I wish I had something to share about an inspired poem or Haiku--but right now, I just don't! I'm actually feeling rather uninspired today. I think it's a bit of that old "senioritis" kicking in. It's so tough to fight!! How do you finish well at one place while gearing up for something new?? I always strive to end well--on a "high note" as they say--but I find it difficult at times.

Some of this is also just the nature of my current job--given the constraints of a federal agency, we're just not able to accomplish and do all the things I'd like to accomplish and do before I leave. This reality frustrates me to no end some days!! I'll just sit back and think, "does it really have to be this difficult??" But, c'est la vie--and for better or for worse, that's how it goes :-).

Anyways, my apologies for the "blah" tone to this post! Here's hoping for more positive overtones next week :-).

An Effort in Futility

Lost in translation--

Blinded by the bright, red tape.

Sand through hourglass.
