House Hunt

Phew . . . well, this Wednesday's Haiku is barely making it into the mix - and I can't vouch for the quality of anything in this post, ha! We just got back tonight from a trip to our future home of Sacramento, California. To say I am exhausted is something of an understatement! The trip was absolutely wonderful, just jam-packed with trying to find a home, get to know the area, etc. etc.

Emotionally, I'm also feeling quite on edge. I'm so excited about our future move, but the reality of what that means continues to creep ever-closer, and now at a rapid pace. Sometimes it takes my breath away, like my legs have been knocked out from underneath me. There's no doubt I've got some tough days ahead . . . but, for now, I'm just going to focus on getting some rest tonight, back home in my own bed--and back with our sweet pups!

So, there you go - let me type this up before I fall asleep at the computer . . . :-)

House Hunt

East coast, west coast fly,

Future home of sunshine bright--

Change is in the air.
