All Things

Hello readers, it's that time again - another Wednesday! I've found myself very prepared each week up until now, but this week has kind of snuck up on me. Like all things lately, I feel like I'm in a time warp/wind tunnel. I'm incapable of making life slow down.

So, with today's Haiku, I don't feel like sharing too much of the back story. Let's just say I'm running into some issues at work and let that be enough. It's frustrating, but the LORD has been using it to continue teaching me that He works ALL things for our good. No evil or malicious plan against us can stand (see Isaiah 54:17)--and if someone is "successful" in his or her assault, it's only because God allowed it for our ultimate best (even when we don't understand why!).

It's easy to see how God uses the happy and positive things in life for our good, but even the struggles and trials (maybe especially those!) He is able to ultimately weave for our good and His glory. So today I'm resting in the truth of Romans 8:28: "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose."

Green monster rises--

Brick wall, to do his bidding.

All things work for good.
