Titanic

Hello readers, and welcome to a special Wednesday - leap day!! I can't help but think of all the babies born today. In a way it would be neat, but mostly I think I'd just feel cheated, to only have one "real" birthday every four years. Birthdays were (and still are!) such a big deal in my family growing up, and I love that about my family. Anyways, that's neither here nor there, and not in any way related to today's Haiku . . .

So work's been a tad frustrating - there are so many changes taking place, and I'm doing all I can to ensure that those changes don't sully my remaining few months at this place (because they easily could!). Politics, drama, etc. . . it can all become a little exhausting (and at the same time, I'd be lying if I didn't admit that a part of me enjoys all the drama, ha!).

At any rate, yesterday I was particularly faced with the realities of the changes around my work place, and it left me feeling a little bummed. However, it also makes me all the more thankful for my loving Heavenly Father--I know He is working and preparing something new for me, and He's getting my heart ready for that. I love the peace I have in Him, knowing that there's no better place I could be than in the center of His will--even when it doesn't look quite like I thought it would!

So with all that in mind, here's today's little Haiku--hope you have a great leap day! :)

Titanic

Clouds drop tears of rain.

Helpless as the changes roll--

Jump this sinking ship.
